The demand on nurses abroad have cause Filipinos to choose nursing as a course. Even our doctors, and a big number of them, have enrolled to nursing schools to be nurses and eventually, be able to work abroad. Even though we have a huge number of nurses here, the good ones have already left for greener pastures. In the long run, what impact would it have to the country?
Overall growth in the number of primary-care physicians "has been totally due to the number of international medical students training in America," Sanders said. "We are increasingly dependent on international medical school graduates to meet our needs. Currently, one in four new physicians in the U.S. is an international medical graduate."
